Product Designer

Daniel is the UX/UI designer at Napps, which makes him the person the developers were arguing with in all those other bios. He designs the app's interface with the precision of someone who has strong opinions and, crucially, the studies to back them up. Daniel loves UX research the way other people love their favorite team: he reads it, he cites it, and he will bring it up when you least expect it, usually right before he moves your button four pixels to the left.

He has, by all accounts, the eye of a cat for spacing, margins, and sizing, meaning he can spot a 2px misalignment across the room and will not be able to relax until it is resolved. He loves hierarchy, both the visual kind and, one suspects, the principle in general. Everything on the screen has a place, a reason, and a weight, and it was all decided on purpose, so please stop asking to "just make the logo bigger."

His genuine heartbreak is the client who ignores the features he taught and designed with real love. He built it thoughtfully. He researched it. He aligned every margin. And then someone launches without using half of it, and a small part of Daniel quietly grieves.

Outside of Figma, Daniel has been vegetarian since birth and vegan for the past few years, runs largely on Água das Pedras, and is one of the rare people who genuinely likes working from the office, especially on the one day a week everyone's actually there. On the blog, he writes about UX and product design for mobile commerce: hierarchy, usability, and the small deliberate choices that decide whether an app feels effortless or just busy. He designed those choices carefully. The least you could do is use them.
